Refresh Button

Hey all,
I do realise that it has been a while but I've been busy. Those Vampire Diaries episodes along with Grey's need to be watched by someone!

Okay, basically, this initial blog is about the refresh button that one should have in life. When life gets a little too much and you need to get away, where do you go? The store down the street for a little retail therapy? The local "quick service" restaurant so fill what's missing with those delicious carbs? The gym to work it all out? Well, I seek out my friend(s).
Recently I went to Montreal to visit a really good friend of mine and when I returned to Calgary, I have to say that I haven't felt so ready to take on anything. I was refreshed and my life took a little reprieve when I was there. So different from the 9 to 5 that I work day in, day out. I also have classes which I need to attend to, however, this little reprieve was needed. Im not sure how to explain it. You know when you're trying to google something and you get the blue bar which mean that the browser is loading and it seems to be loading forever... I click the refresh button and thats what it was like. A breath of fresh air which gave me back my energy and snip-its of what and who I was before life got in the way and seemingly dulled me. I was waiting for something in life to happen and I didn't know where to go from this point onwards. I went away, experienced so many new things which have me reeling, and I am just happier, more interested and have this thirst for life which I haven't felt in such a long time. Like having a nice cold glass of water on an extremely hot day and remembering the chill and how it felt as you drank. Happy and peaceful. Thats exactly how this trip has effected me.

Think about your personal refresh button, seek it out, and go and get it.

Until next time,
F.F
