Hey all!
Hope all of your summers were as eventful as mine, and when I say that, I mean mind-numbing... I'll get to that in a moment.
I do realize that I haven't blogged in a very long time, don't think that I don't know, cuz I do know. Trust this face.... :)
Anyway! I will have to recap and catch all of you up on what I've done since the beginning of September seeing as we are in October and you haven't heard a word!
Now back to the mind-numbing portion of my summer, it lasted from about the moment I left Lethbridge until around September 5th... the date I got back... If you are asking yourself how long that was, I'd say about four months. I worked all summer (This is where the mind-numbing portion comes from), had little to no interaction with normal people, as in my friends and instead would serve ignorant fools which didnt know what they wanted even though the menu seldom changes. Like I said, fools. I cant really say where I worked, would hate to be sued... I have a feeling it could and really would suck. Apart from working, I did manage to get some freedom and see Shaun, Ammi, S'rah (maybe? briefly? Was probably drunk to tell the truth.) and I-Dizzle. They were fun, we sun bathed and tried to drown me... I knew what was up, I have a sense for skullduggery- you dont fool me Shaun! We hung out a few times, I didn't get a chance to see many of the men though.
-I GOT A NEW CAR!-
I did get a text from Will Smith and we chilled with a group of us downtown in the beautiful scenic park called Prince's Island on Canada Day. So I drive the whole way down there, for Will Smith to text me saying "Yo, can you pick me and my friends up, we want mcdicks." Me being the lovely, agreeable friend that I am, agree and say yes. As soon as we get back to the park, we meet up with the big group, have tonnes of fun and enjoy the rest of the day. I will never forget that Will Smith invited me to attend some celebration to do with Canada (I dont really know, for I am not Canadian) so that he would have a convenient ride to Crack Macs... Thank you ever so much Smith!
I have been back at university for a little over a month now and am loving it. The boys live down the hall and up one floor, so they are there when I want to go over there and I'm not necessarily forced to see them everyday. I love seeing the guys though, and that fad did a full one-eighty when I'd hung out with them for a little over a week. Are we surprised? No! If you answered yes, go back 10 months on my blog and you'll hopefully understand why.
I was just interrupted by S'rah (that's right, we're roomies... again...STREWTH!) hunting through our stocked-above-usual freezer for ice cream which she ate as though she'd recently gone through a break up... Scott-Withdrawal...? I also have a new roomie this year! Her name is Becky, she was in C last year, we just weren't cool enough to chill with each other... I'm sure that's what we were both thinking... Unless, she hated me- in which case: AWKWARD. We also have another roomie, her name is Shelby, I don't have a nickname for her quite yet, still at the small stages, but she's pretty awesome!
So far we've had fun chatting, but never as late as last year, I'm sure you remember the Ritz-Box- Fiasco, because I sure do.
