Everyone has friends. I believe it. Everyone needs friends, even those that claim that they want nothing to do with the world, they have friends. there are varying degrees of friendship I believe. A little like an onion. And the deeper you get to the core, the closer the friends are. But I think that everyone has those friends that are always off doing their own little things and in order to continue to e friends, there has to be more than just the one effort being made by one friend. Being friends, as i am often told, is part of a two way street and is full of give and take. What do you do if you feel that you give and give and give but there isn't much to take, but your friends with them and you don't wanna lose them? No matter the distance? There is only so much one friend can do f the other isn't complying to these "rules" that people have about friendships and being in this kind of relationship.
Its not like you can just walk up to your friend, or contact them by email, msn, facebook or whatever the hell else there is out there to talk to people with and be like "Where are you on my Onion of Friendship?" How ridiculous does that sound to you? To me, it sound bloody ludicrous.
A close friend of mine suggested that communications should be cut for a while before I get right back into it and keep trying and wasting my energy. I might just take her up on that. No cell phones for a while, naturally my laptop will be with me, but if i turn the internet off... then I should be perfectly fine, yes?
Sometimes you put walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down
(Might just end my Blogs like Criminal Minds from now on... with a quote)
